Jimmy's Short Story Proposal

Exposition:  On an island that was off the coast of Australia, there was a plane crash landing. The people who survived the crash, were all very frightened. People who searching for their loved ones while the waves were washing up parts of the plane and dead bodies. After all the chaos was over, people started thinking about what to do and if anyone would come to rescue them. But what all the people didn't know was that they were on a haunted island.

Inciting Incident: There was a guy named Dave on the island and he was a survival expert. He tried to get everyone to stay calm and make a plan. Dave and a few other brave people ventured into the island's forest, the forest was thick and cold. As the went further in they found a shrine. The shire had ancient writing on it and it said If you disturb this tomb, the spirits off hell will be released onto this island. But they could not read it because it was in ancient writing. 

Rising Action: The group decided to make camp near the shrine, because there was a lake next to the shrine. A few of the people decided that it would be a good idea to open the tomb. Some of the other members did not think that it was a good idea, but the people opened it anyway and a huge gust of wind came roaring out of the tomb into the air and then everything got quiet. 

Climax: A few days later after they had opened the tomb, people started to disappear. Dave and men went out to try to find them, they ventured into the forest and found nothing, but they did find another camp site, this camp site was abandoned and didn't look like anyone was there, they went into all the tents and in the last tent there sat an old woman, the old woman looked scared and frightened. When they asked her what had happened she explained everything to them. They rushed back to camp but no one was there. All the tents were empty and there was no one in sight. The men decided to try to get off the island as soon as they could, so they decided to build a boat. They finished half of it and they decided to stop and finish the rest tomorrow. They all went to sleep, but then the men got woken up by a voice they followed it, but Dave tried to make them stay but they thought that if they followed the voices it would lead them to the other that disappeared. Dave was sitting all alone in the tent for about 5 hours but then fell asleep.

Falling Action:  It was about 5am and he heard footsteps outside his tent. He started to get scared and he finally decided to go out of the tent. When he got out of the tent, there was nothing there, after he decided to finish building the boat, but he could not do it without the other men to help him, so he decided to follow the voice after awhile of walking he cam across a campsite. There was the old woman standing there staring at the ground. She looked up at him and said his name. After that everything went black and Dave was lying down in the tent back at the camp site. 

Resolution: After he walked out of the tent, the men said to him "So are you ready to go venture into the forest?" As the went deeper into the forest he saw the shrine again and it was like he was re-living everything over again.
